I'm pretty new to Linux as an OS and i seem to be having an issue. I am using Kodachi as my distro and when I boot into it i keep hearing a noticeable pop sound coming from my onboard speakers and the only way I can get audio is with headphones. I have it loaded through a USB boot drive that I set up and my speakers work fine when I boot normally into Windows. Does anyone have any solutions that I can do wither through the interface of Terminal?

use a distrto that isnt based on a 3-year old release of ubuntu, and maybe that way your drivers are actually decent.

I would switch but I REALLY like the security features of the distro that I have with Kodachi. I think the problem is that it's not detecting my onboard speakers as available so I will have to research a way to make that change, but thank you for your advice either way.
