YouTube video creating question

this is a pretty noob question but...i just started making some videos since i got my samson meteor mic but currently i use shadowplay(since its free) to record but i have to record as i play which means i have to get it right in one go. What software do i have to use so that I can record the video w shadowplay and then separately record my voice and add it to the gameplay? You know, so a gameplay commentary comes out of it? And how do I put the video and audio recordings together into one vid?

If  you want to add audio on to a piece of audio onto it you will have to use something like Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere.

What video editing software do you use? Chances are it has a voice over feature. I use Sony Vegas personally and it's pretty easy to do it with that. If your editing software doesn't have a voice over feature you can just record your audio with something like audacity and sync it up with your gameplay.
