Swapped out the motherboard, you don't need X570 and that board is way higher end than most people need. If you really wanna go with ASUS, you can swap it for the B550 Strix, but you don't really need it. The B550 Tomahawk is a very reliable board and should do well for your use case. 

Went for faster memory, you could afford it after saving money on the mobo, and will result in a noticeable performance increase (~5%)

Swapped out the SSD for something Gen3 rather than Gen4. Coming from someone with a Gen4 drive, you really can't notice the difference and should only get it if you like showing off the high numbers.

The PSU isn't amazing, and a RM850x would be a better unit, especially with a 3080Ti.
