R9 280X. It's older, but more powerful, just it uses a lot of PSU power though.

RX 560 is newer, but less good than the R9 and in my opinion just worth $100-125.

GTX 1050 non Ti is a bit weak with just 2GB VRAM.

1050 comes in 2,3 and 4gb versions.

True, I almost forgot.

Either way it's still the weaker card here.

The 560 and 1050 are most of the times near identical in performance so it's a bit of a take either thing. Fully agree that both pale in comparison to a r9 280x.

560 if you have a power limit to work with, 280x if you dont and can power a 250-300w card

i have 500w seasonic S12III, is this good enough PSU, iam not heavly playing games to be honest but want to do an hour or two of dota2 or EU4 and a bit 3d render here and there, that way power consumption doesnt affect me so much i hope

If you have the power connectors for it, and depending on the specific 280x it should be fine

reference spec 280x’s are 8+6 pin at 250w but something like a sapphire toxic 280x is a 300w card with dual 8 pins and topping that entire system out would be near the peak of what that psu could handle

welp let me check my cable for a moment thanks for reminding me of that
