Budget (including currency): 8500 similar to list

Country:  Aus

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Intense rendering, editing, simulation, etc. Needs thunderbolt

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

https://pcpartpicker.com/b/c3GcCJ   - Any improvements one could make to this build? Also have no idea what to purchase to actually complete the build e.g water cooling.

I'm sure the CPU could be upgraded & the ram could be upgraded to something better?

My PC Currently Is The P2-1320a.

Why do you need thunderbolt specifically?

And still no budget we all can work with so... Any board with thunderbolt and slap in a high end CPU and GPU, some ram and storage as you need it.

For your usecase that pc sucks but since you didn't specify budget or a more detailed description of the use case and your history of fantasy builds I won't put effort into making a list.

Use-case is essentially just rendering content at 4k, heavy game development, gaming such as basic simulators e.g universe sim, kerbal space program, etc.

PC is fine no? Budget is $8500usd, similar to pcpartpicker list.

Thank you, monitor is no issue as i already have one, would you make any additional improvements to the build as the monitor is removed? If not well the build looks pretty good

The monitor was in your list which was why I included it.

It's a decent configuration. (Although one of the m.2 will run at PCIe 3.0 speeds.)

Consider the roomier Meshify 2 case.

If budget was increased by 1k are there any parts worth upgrading?

I think this list is pretty good to build, i obviously need to buy case fans right

For 7800$ that is honestly kind of a let down of a system. Also don't spend that much on a monitor just because it has the latest bleeding edge tech. It has multiple issues nasty issues and you can get amazing screens for under half the price.

Content rendering at 4k? So just video editing?

Like no joke you can get a system for half the price and not notice a difference for your usecases.

You don't necessarily need more case fans. The two stock fans should be sufficient to establish good airflow. Besides they are easily added later should it prove necessary.

Without knowing the rendering engine(s) and game development software being used there is little point in suggesting hardware improvements.
