So my friend wanted to check if his PC was compatible for windows 11. It said that TPM 2.0 had to be enabled. To do that, he had to update BIOS on his Asus H310M-K. After updating BIOS, he finally could enable TPM. Problem started there, after TPM got enabled, PC just couldn't boot to Windows. Everytime It booted straight into BIOS. The only solution we could find is to enable CSM and only after that the PC finally booted to Windows. The problem now is that, windows 11 needs Secure boot enabled and to do that, PC has to be in UEFI mode which we can't boot into as we are in Legacy mode because of CSM enabled. Only solution we discovered seems to be disk conversion from MBR to GPT.

Is that actually the only way? and if it is, then how would one go about doing it?

The amount of threads about this in Since Win 11 dropped is astounding. I think we need a sticky thread or something. I keep linking this same link lol...
