Budget (including currency): 300 on new parts but can be a little flexible

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: streaming, video editing, WFH, and alot of different games, mainly FPS games

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

i also have a 1tb m.2 ssd but the one i have purchased is not on the pcpartpicker website.

Story: i was building a pc and was originally going to use a 1660 super or 1080ti in my system, but i won the newegg shuffle and got the 3060 and mobo, and of course with this market i made the purchase. however i feel now that my cpu is bottlenecking the rest of my pc, when playing games my gpu is at ~20% while my cpu sits at 80% at the lowest. i would like advice on what a good upgrade path for the cpu would be, aswell as some other feedback on the system.

(i have all peripherals and all other things for pc purchased, just need to upgrade now.)

If you're running a 3060, a 3600 isn't meaningfully bottlenecking anything unless you're running at 1080p and insane framerates.

Yeah you'll be GPU limited way before the CPU brings your below 144fps in most games.
