Hey guys, just bought a second monitor for my setup. It is a Acer XFA240 with 1080p and 144hz. Same model as my first one. However, the resolution in my display settings is capped at 1400x900 @ 60hz despite this being a 1080p 144hz capable monitor as well as display port cable. I have tried updating my NVIDIA drivers, display drivers, restarting my pc. Is there anything in the BIOS that could help fix this?  If there is anything that could help fix this problem, I would definitely appreciate a response. Let me know if you need more information, I will post a few screenshots as well.

There's probably an actual fix for this, but the way I've always done it for running into this issue is to create a custom resolution, whether that be through the Nvidia driver or CRU. In the driver, open it up and go to change resolution. and select the external monitor. Click "create custom resolution" or whatever its called (I'm currently on a machine with integrated graphics so I can't verify the exact language). Check the box labeled "allow resolutions not exposed by the display" and add a new resolution, filling out the necessary pixel dimensions and refresh rate. Hit apply and make sure it still renders on that display, if not wait a few seconds for it to revert back. Apply that resolution and you're good to go. If this doesn't work, you might have to switch to CRU, but it's been a while since I've used it and don't remember the specifics for how to set this up
