I got an ultrawide 34" monitor (21:9) for my Mac mini and I LOVE IT!

I'd like to use an ultrawide in portrait for Discord, Reddit, email, etc. But at 34" that would be an insane pain in the neck, literally.

Is there a smaller option, maybe 15" to 25" that's still 21:9?

Thanks!

going past 16:9 is weird for portrait.  But if you want it

That looks great!

Yes it's weird. I know I am weird. I already have 14 monitors at my desk. And yes, I use them.

Just look at this! It's a night and day difference.

At this point I'm really curious to know what applications you use to actually utilize 14 monitors..

And how on earth do you position 14 of them to be visible to you without having to turn your neck 180 degrees around..

I am getting pretty fucking sick and tired of the "watch something else" responses. It's such a cop out answer because you could say that about basically anything, and it doesn't address the actual complaints. People use it as some kind of card they pull when they can't actually respond to the criticism raised but they still feel like they need to defend some company/person. If you don't like this thread then stop reading it. See how stupid it is? It's basically like telling someone "shut the fuck up". It's not a clever responsive, it doesn't address anything said, and it is rude.

I’m genuinely curious what this 14 monitor setup looks like. You own 14 displays but weren’t able to fire up Newegg and search by size and resolution? Something sounds… off.

I didn't know Newegg had search parameters like that. I've only used it once, maybe.

This is an old photo, at the moment 3 monitors are not working because an eGPU died. I've added my new ultrawide above the rest on the top left. I also have the laptop's built in screen and sometimes my Surface Pro X. I have the option to dock the Surface. But I use it on the go most often.

In addition to my lastest 14th monitor not in this older pic, there is 1 more off screen. It's actually a small 16:9 TV but I use it as a monitor for Samsung DeX.
