Weird issue

I added 4 gb ram stick to my laptop

And after that new problem started in my laptop

Now sometimes when i start my laptop it dose not start and only when i plug charge and start then only it starts

 

And sometimes if laptop is on i remove charging plug it immediately turns off and do not start until i plug in charge

I checked battery connection its completely fine

This problem occurs sometimes other times laptop works fine

 

But if i remove the new ram stick then laptop works fine like there is no problem at all

 

Laptop: acer aspire 5 

i5 8***U 

Mx 150

New ram : crucial 2600mhz 4gb

Help needed

Then there is either a problem with that RAM stick, or the RAM Slot.

 

You did all the troubleshooting needed to narrow down that issue.

 

Exchange the RAM Stick?  And if it still happens, it's the slot.

It might also be a bad/dead battery given the laptop only worked when plugged into the wall. Would be a coincidence to start happening after RAM install, but removing the new stick to see if the problem still happens would tell you that pretty quickly.
