Hi all,

I have a Lenovo E595 which I use for all of my uni work and it currently has 8GB of RAM.

It is only using 1 slot to do this so I was considering upping this to 16GB as it will help with programmes like CAD.

However I know that it isn't the best idea to mix sets of RAM so is it okay just buying another 8GB stick with the same speed rating and installing this?

Thanks again

Pretty much any 2666mhz ddr4 sodimm will work

note it’ll take up to 32gb per slot if you wanted to add more in the future you can replace either slot

Okay thanks! Will get searching for a stick to purchase, appreciate the reply.
