Most of the time, motherboards are given the most recent BIOS at the factory. If you're buying a new board, it should support 9th gen out of the box, given how long its been since support for that chip was added.

So I should not worry about getting a seperate cpu just to update BIOS?

I'd try the 9500 first and, if it doesn't work, then you could look into getting a cheap 8th gen chip to update the BIOS. I doubt you'll need to, given how old the B365 boards are.

Also, if you're getting it from a store, a lot of computer stores can help you update the BIOS using a CPU they have on hand.
