Hello everyone please help me with this issue its been here on my laptop for very long. I have a gtx 950m 4gb ddr3. Normally when im playing the game my core clock is 600 mhz and memory 1200 mhz and I get very smoth performance But out of no where my clocks both become 405 mhz and stay at it and sometimes become my smooth clocks and then change to 405 mhz and the fps becomes horrible and my temp becomes 92 degress this all happens in legit 10 mins of me starting to play. Also im using a laptop cool pad so still temps are high please help, I tried undervolting but it dosent open the frequency curve in my laptop,

This is the screenshot of msi afterburner when laptop is on idle, Is the voltage high on idle if yes plz tell me how to fix. and also tell me how to get a stable core clock 1200 and memort 600mhz clock and it dosent change to both 405mhz when im playing.

When was the last time you repasted the CPU and GPU and give the internals a good dusting?? 

 

For sure, it's overheating and the problem lies with the cooling system.
