Just got a new 6900xt replaced my rtx 2080 getting worse fps on 1080p on every single game on the same settings used DDU and uninstalled old nividia drivers no nividia files left on the computer iv checked bios up to date chipset drivers up to date everything should be in check but still bad performance compared to my 2080 also the 6900xt has coil whine heard that is common on next gen high wattage cards has gotten quiter the past week but for example playing bf5 getting worse fps on the same settings card is not beimg fully utilized and clock speeds utilization and power consumption is all over the place is it because of 1080p or any other ideas would be much appreciated

Are you using raytracing? Also, did you used to have DLSS enabled?

If so, the 6900XT is only about on par with the RTX 2070 when raytracing is active and the 2070 is using DLSS. I'd imagine that with RT enabled, the 2080 probably wins even without DLSS.

That was a bad switch. Should've kept the 2080, you only use it at 1080p and you expect a 6900xt to be at 100% utilization?
