I upgraded the cooling in my system to a water cooling system. After i was done installing my loop, i turned my system on and the motherboard poast Dr Debug code 36. I have an Asrock z77 extreme9 with a 3770k. I researched this code and it looks like my cpu wont post at all. I tried resetting my cpu, only put on memory stick in. hit CMOS clear switch and nothing. same problem. Is it possible my cpu is dead or did i screw up my motherboard? Any new suggestions that i can try?

That code seems to deal with memory problems. Perhaps you dislodged one of the RAM sticks during the install. Try removing the RAM(s), check the slots for dust, hair, etc, and re-install the RAM.

If that doesn't help, you may have acidently scrambled the CMOS RAM (used by the BIOS). Try manually restting the BIOS using the on-board jumper.
