Hi Guys! I have been running into some issues with my gaming rig. While playing New World i'm getting around 30-40FPS in towns and 60-70FPS in less populated areas medium settings at 1440P. Ive attached all my specs below from a UserBenchmark test. I know New World is a brand new game but other people with the same specs as myself are getting much higher performance. Its also not only New World Ive noticed i get far less performance in other games than people with the same specs such as Warzone, Cold War, Halo Infinite beta, Gears 5 etc. I also ran 2 tests on userbenchmark one without G sync and one with G sync and the difference in performance is incredible. I'm getting to the point of wanting to wipe my entire PC and start from scratch. Does anyone have any ideas on why my system is not performing to its potential?

You realize UserBench is notorious for being an absolutely useless benchmark for comparing hardware right? Especially using anything AMD related.

Anyway, that aside, the big questions I feel is, are you running the game with G-SYNC turned on? Is it windowed or borderless windowed mode? G-SYNC is still a method of Vertical sync at it's core, it's handled in a more efficient way, so shouldn't have as bad an impact as normal vsync, but a drop in FPS is always expected when using it. Are you also turning off the in-game vsync when running New World? There's no reason to run both vsync and gsync at the same time.

Is the screen tearing an issue for you? You could play with gsync completely off if that's fine with you.

If not, you can also try fiddling the GPU Driver settings in Nvidia inspector or their control panel. Setting the GPU to max performance or something may force it to run full power rather than at partial power.
