You might need more ram, your ram probably fills up too fast for it to be converted to page file etc. See if your pc reverts to normal function after it freezes, just wait a little longer.

Laptop: METABOX W230ST | Intel i7-4700MQ | 2x4GB Dual Channel Ram | NVIDIA GTX 765M 2GB | 128GB SSD | 1TB HDD | Razer peripherals.

Desktop: Custom Desktop | Intel i5-2400 | 2x4GB Dual Channel G.Skill DDR3 | Gigabyte + XFX R9 280x CF| H61M-USB3-B3 | 1TB HDD

It's the ram. I wouldn't recommend anything lower than 4 gigs, considering how most games nowadays just use 2 gigs by themselves. Consider getting another 2 gig stick.

Agreed.

Even 4GB of RAM can be a little limiting these days for gaming, 2GB is limiting for essentially anything unless you're running Windows XP or a decent Linux distro.

Ok I will wait for 20min now

And my pc freezes even when copying something to usb or copying to computer

Ram usage is about 800-900 when copying files but it still freezed.

So , Do I need to change something at page file

As I'm using 7200rpm desktop drive as my OS drive and games(bcoz its faster) and 5400rpm for songs and movies.

Should I set my page file location to the 5400rpm drive?

And what size I require for page file for 2gb Ram

Yes win 7 64-bit

And I hav installed fresh copy of it just 2 days ago

That may be your problem.

64-bit Operating Systems should only be used on computers with more than 4GB of RAM. If you only have 2GB then your computer will only have around 1GB of that available for programs to use, as the OS and the page file will easily eat up the other half.

Try using a 32-bit OS instead, and if that's not possible you should really get more RAM. 2GB is really, really small these days.

As you have more files in your hard drive, the slower the hard drive gets, this is because it needs to search for free sectors which takes longer with a clogged hard drive.

See if you can change your page file to 8gb, go to System and Security, System, Advanced system settings, Advanced tab, and change virtual memory to 8192

i want to know if there is problem having both Nvidia and AMD Graphics drivers instaleed ?

i just uninstalled the amd gpu drivers to see if there will be no freeze .
