I have a question regarding the Lenovo Legion Y540 15” model containing the RTX 2060, i7-9750H 16GB ram. I bought this laptop recently & wanted to primarily play Warzone, but I’ve noticed that I don’t get anywhere near the 100s on Low/Medium settings, I turned off v-sync ect. I reach a minimum of 75fps & low 60s on low settings around Downtown area. Is there anything I can do to raise the FPS? I don’t notice any thermal throttle

I'd say return it that laptop has temperature issue causing the 9750h to run below base clock in gaming making it a pretty crappy gaming laptop.

Is there anything that I can do in MSI afterburner or the BIOs? I’m currently using this laptop for college so returning isn’t much of an option.

Undervolting it and making sure it's always clean inside. Lifting up the back of the laptop a bit can also help a little so it gets air more easily. But in reality this is basically a defective laptop from the factory. Was not recommended to be bought when it came out years ago for this reason.
