Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA high-ish settings, 60fps; esports 240fps; both at UHD

Pretty sure I want to go for this CPU/GPU combo. I already have the 3060Ti and doubt will use more than 6C/12T.

I don't want to replace cooling, case, SSD and PSU for many years, while upgrading CPU+motherboard, RAM and GPU as needed.

This is a pretty good parts list, there's only two things I would personally change.

1.) The PSU. Since you want to keep this PSU for many years, you might be better off going for an 850w, that way if you try to get say a 3090 when they're finally cheap on the used market, you can. The RM850x is only $25 more, and if you're gonna keep it for a while, I'd say that's worth it.

2.) The Motherboard. I'm not a fan of Gigabyte motherboards for a variety of reasons, one of the bigger ones is their complete lack of debug LEDs on anything but their top end boards. The B550 Tomahawk is also a fine motherboard for $15 cheaper that I would personally use instead.

That being said, if you went with that system in its current config, It would be more than fine for a number of years.

The 3060Ti might be a little underpowered for UHD 60 FPS

I avoid Gygabyte products personally because of poor costumer relations. I'd go with an ASUS TUF instead.

Absolutely! Thanks for your detailed recommendations.

How bad is the Gigabyte though? In my local market I would need to pay significantly more (almost $100) for anything else that supports front USB-C. Is it still not worth it?

Right, I meant QHD.

Not bad enough that where I'd say to spend an extra $100 to get something else. Just be warned that their motherboard quality is very hit or miss, since most of them don't have debug LEDs diagnosing a problem is a real challenge, and their customer service is a bit of a joke.
