Hello,

Im looking to build my first PC. I am about to start working so I am looking at PC prices so I have a definite goal to work towards and after some research and looking around I have picked out my parts. I would like to know any places I could save a buck without loosing much performance. I would also like to know anything I'm missing maybe WIFI/Bluetooth or cords that I should also buy along with the PC parts. Please let me know how I can improve on my build and what else I need for it. Also incase it wasnt obvious im going for an all white/ silver build and im willing to spend a little extra to have that look.

Thank you

I'd recommend a rtx 3060 ti instead if you can get one for a reasonable price, also personally I wouldn't cheap alot on motherboard, I would recommend a motherboard like Asus prime z590m-plus, it is pretty reasonable price aswell. Also if you plan not doing overclocking, I would recommend something like AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. or if ur planning to overclock then I would recommend intel i7-11700KF as it is cheaper, but dont come whit intergated graphics, but since you have rtx 3060 you don't need one

You can go for an ATX motherboard instead of micro ATX and still retain nice memory overclocking. I recommend a non-K CPU since you won't be getting a Z series motherboard to overclock the CPU. The 750 watt version of the PSU appears to be cheaper for some reason so I added that. I recommend a single large SSD up front and adding a hard drive later.

For the CPU cooler, check out the Vertroo V5, you can find if for under $30 on eBay in white. Very attractive and works quite well.

The cables you need will all be included except Ethernet. For a gaming PC I don't recommend wifi but if it is a must for you, you will need to add it with an extra expansion card because the motherboard is not equipped with it

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

The PSU will come with all the cables you need to power the computer. Of course you'll need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. You're definitely missing Windows, but you can get that on the cheap (like $30-40), and get a USB flash drive to use with another computer to download Windows onto it.

Note: The SP RGB ELITE fan is for the case, to be mounted at the back of the case, as an exhaust fan. The LL120 fan is for the cpu cooler. I also went with a motherboard that has wi-fi and bluetooth capabilities built into it. However, if you don't need that, then go with the B550 Tomahawk motherboard instead.
