Stumped by this no post issue

Go to solution Solved by Magnum062,

Tried this site, reddit, and another tech support site and  I never did get it sorted out. Went with a buddy to Best Buy to pick up his order and I came across an Asus Tuff just like my other friends. Took it as a sign and bought it. Got the 5600x installed and just like his board it had no issues. I do not understand why I had the problem I did but that's tech I guess. Thought about selling so I can get some increased capacity and matching speed memory but ended up just putting the MSI and 2600 in closet in case it's needed for something in the future.

MSI b550 gaming plus with 2 sticks of mismatched memory; 3200 and 2400. Running a Ryzen 2600 with latest stable bios after trying latest bios 7C56v181(Beta version). Running old school test bench style on top of the motherboard boxes while troubleshooting.

Been running for just under a month no issue. Tried to upgrade to a new retail 5600x and I'm getting the white DRAM led. tried resetting battery as well as just shorting the jumper. Attempted without GPU and with only gpu / cpu attached. Tried single ram sticks in each slot.

Now here is the kicker. Keep every part the same but replace only the motherboard with an Asus Tuff x570 wifi and it posts and boots right up with the 5600x and loads into windows. Split the ram between the boards and ran them about a full day without issue. Now lets return to the powered up and idling 2600 /msi b550 combo. Replace the cpu with the 5600 and back to white led.

Put the 2600 back into the msi and im using that as I write this while the 5600x sits idling in the bios of the asus tuff. I do not own the Asus plus I just bought windows 10 Pro again after using up my last hardware change key and thus this new key is attached to the MSI board.

Thank you for your time.

I can access the bios upgrade / downgrade using the 2600 cpu. PC posts and runs without issue with this cpu. I upgraded the board to the newest beta when I got it couple months back. Per a suggestion I have already downgraded to the latest stable non beta version which did not help. Thought flashback was just a way to upgrade bios and should be performed without any cpu ram or other components installed just power for risk of potential bricking?

used the flashback msi.rom to newest beta didn't work. Went back 1 from latest stable didn't work. Made sure to remove cmos and short the jumper after putting the cpu in. Also re-flashed beta without cpu or memory but didn't make a difference either. 3 medium length beeps from the speaker and static white DRAM led on the board. Whole ordeal doesn't make sense.

The 5600 posts no issue on the Asus board even with the mismatched ram. However on your advice and thinking maybe the ryzen is being picky with the memory on the msi board;  tried 2 3200 sticks straight from my friends personnel computer. I got the same results on everything. Sadface
