Hello all,

I was wondering if you could give me some input on my next upgrade for my desktop.

Current specs are as follows

CPU: i5-3570k OC'd to 4.5GHz

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper EVO

Motherboard; Asus P8Z77-V

Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport (2 X 4GB)

Storage: Crucial M4 128GB, Samsung Evo Pro 128GB, Seagate Barracude 1TB 7200RPM

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce 780

Case: Coarsair 750D

PSU: OCZ ZT 750W

I'm leaning towards watercooling but thought maybe I could get some input from someone with more knowledge. Machine is used primarily for heavy gaming at 1080p. I will get into higher resolutions when it becomes cheaper. Any input is appreciated.

buy a 1440p monitor save your money for now man, water-cooling is nice but in your case not really necessary if you're stable at 4.5 GHz

theres nothing much that need changing but if you want something how about a second 780?

WHY NOT BOTH

Won't need another 780 for a 1080p monitor.

probably because 240gb ssd's used to be expensive

but they're not even identical

Even if I'm hitting temps around 80C on my overclock? I know its not really that high but it makes me a little uncomfortable at times. Is it something to be worried about?

If you're desperate to spend money, you could swap the PSU for something like a Corsair AX760. Heard bad things about those XFX units.

Failing that, get an AIO cooler. Corsair h100i will fit in your case, and i think the h110 will as well.

I think 80c is ok on intel man, but I'm not an intel guy
