Error code 0xc0000001

Go to solution Solved by 2xNOOB,

So i have an Acer nitro 5 laptop with 8GB of ram. The CPU has 8 cores and i was using all of them. When i am playing a game my CPU rarely hits 70% usage but my ram is always at its max so i wanted to lower my cpu cores to have more ram (i had 5.8 GB available). But when i restarted i got a bleu screen and followed up by a screen that said: pc couldn't boot up correctly (with the error code 0xc0000001 of course) after searching on YouTube and websites i came to the conclusion that i needed to A. reinstall windows. Or B. Repair windows somehow. I need some help with this because i cant figure out how to fix this issue.

The file is a picture of the last screen i get before it shuts down again. It is in dutch so if you need a translation of something just ask me

Explain what you did exactly. Disabling CPU cores will not magically give you more RAM.

PLEASE STOP [Killing] ME I WILL GIVE Y OU ANOTHER DEAL.

Explain to me the thought process as to how you thought Less cores = more ram?

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

One of my friends dads helped me with using more cores and more processing power for the cpu though that did use more ram for the cpu and now i wanted to change that back

No? The same program is loaded into the memoruy no matter the cpu core count. There MAY be a few kilobytes of more os data for how to adress the other cores but nothing major.

Now you need to boot into safe mode and undo everything you did in msconfig

I could use some help with this!
