Hi everyone, I am trying to overclock my CPU and GPU to try and get the most out of my system, and I would like to help with what is stable and non-dangerous. My CPU is currently at base clock and GPU is at +27MHz

Hello OceanPS,

This is not an easy answer as some of it will come down to silicon quality.

The answer is how patient are you prepared to be ?

GPU is bit easier than the rest. You can get MSI afterburner. and increase the power limit up to the max (around 110%)

Then gradually increase the Core and memory clock. My suggestion (assuming good temps) to start is +100mhz on the core and +150mhz on the memory. then go up by 15 till unstable and roll back. This will give you the best uplift for your set up.

For the RAM - You should be able to get abit more out of it 2667mhz perhaps. Set up the Ram with your current timings and then set the mhz to 2667 and the voltage to 1.35mhz once again if this posts try memtest and leave for a good few hours for errors.

For the CPU, what is your temps currently on a cinebench run for 10 mins, I'm not overly convinced you will get too much out of an OC at the great expense of heat. Try the GPU first and see how you go. Sounds silly, but Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor is great game to test an OC on.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
