I was looking at upgrading to rocket lake  in the near future anyways, so I’ll probably Use my predicament to  upgrade around Christmas time.

A week ago I stupidly thought that it would be a good idea to mess with voltages on my ram. This has Since bricked the computer and shows the dram debug led when powered on (photos below). I originally thought it was just the ram that got fried, so I bought a new kit but I still get the same issue with the new set. The only things that I can think of as to why the new ram produces the same issues is that the new ram is faulty, or the ram slots got fried. If I have to replace the motherboard. Photos, part list, and qvl lists avalible below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

*THIS THREAD IS ALSO ON r/pcmasterrace so I WILL MARK THIS AS SOLVED IF I GET AN ANSWER FROM THERE*

Clear the cmos.

you can drag and drop pictures right into the post box. no need for external links here.

I have done this multiple times already, but I just did that again with the same issue happening after I cleared the cmos.

Single stick goes into slot A2, the first black slot.

Clear cmos the long way.

Pull power cord from PSU and switch it off.

Hit the PC power button to drain start up caps.

Pull the cmos battery for 10 minutes.

Jump the cmos pins for 5 seconds.

Assemble and try again.

Every time you change memory configuration, you should clear the cmos.

Try each slot individually with a single stick of memory. Maybe you do have a bad slot.

Yes, diag is a pain in the butt....

Install the diag speaker on the front panel and see if you get any errors as well.

And another trick you can try is to remove and reseat the processor. Just be careful when removing the heat sink, turn and twist it off, don't pull straight up. apply new thermal paste also.

b360 is intel, so it doesn't matter if the cooler is pulled straight up

I will do this tomorrow when I can get access to the computer. I also have to find a way to get the cmos battery from behind the front panel fans. It fell behind there when I was trying to get the cmos battery out for the second time, I also  resated the processor twice already

Some boards don't like the cmos battery removed. Yeah, I'd install that just to be sure. While it's out, check it with a multimeter and be sure it's over 3.0v.

If I think of anything else you can try besides the obvious, I'll come let you know.

So far I have tried everything suggested so far, and I haven't been able to fix the issue. If I do need to replace the motherboard because of a bad ram slot what would be a good suggested replacement board? I'm willing to spend up to $120

That's the hard part. It could be the cpu also. Since the board debug seems to work....

do you get error beeps accompanying it as well??

You might be correct on the cpu, the debug led for cpu flashes before the dram led turns solid.

I haven’t been able to check for error beeps because, from what I can tell,  the case doesn’t have a speaker.

If you have on old 2 pin cas switch or restart button, you can wire in any small speaker or tweeter and get the beeps. But you can get them on Amazon or w/e.

Ok, I will do that, I’ll update you with the beep codes when I get the speaker installed

Yep that's what I'd do. Just to be certain.

Tag me up, I'll do my best to help.

I just tried installing the suggested bios speaker, but I get no sound from it. I checked the diagram in the manual, and the speaker is installed correctly. Any help as to what is causing  this would be greatly appreciated.

I know it's been a few weeks since I updated this thread, so I might make this it's own post if I don't get anything back within a few days.

Generally without beeps isn't a good sign. Usually the board is bad when that happens.

If you have the option to warranty the board and CPU, I'd do both just in case.

I just checked warranty, and the computer isn’t covered anymore (warranty is only 3 yrs). I also won’t be able to warranty specific parts as this is a prebuilt. Ill Need to buy new, or used parts. Thanks for the help anyways
