I'm building a pc from scratch and I have purchased pretty much everything for the pc except the PSU. I'm trying to figure out what is better between the "Seasonic PRIME PX-1300, 1300W 80+ Platinum, Full Modular, 135mm FDB Fan w/Hybrid Fan Control, ATX12V & EPS12V, Power On Self Tester" and the "EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 P+ 220-PP-1300-X1 1300W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply" I want to stay with the 1300w. These 2 psu look to be very similar and just wanted an opinion on which is better. Ive posted here before a while back but since then my entire PC build has changed. Thanks!!

What's the other hardware? Reading your other thread you were planning on the 11900k + 3090 + 12 fans and RGB. What have you now decided on that requires 1300 watts of power? I'm skeptical you actually need that much PSU.

Here's a good reference if you haven't already seen this thread.

The EVGA P+ doesn't seem to be evaluated yet. The Seasonic Prime line has the footnote of issues with transient power spikes when paired to a 3xxx series Nvidia GPU.

Be sure to QUOTE or TAG me in your reply so I see it!

Thank you! I’ll look at it.
my new specs are:

ryzen 9 5950x

gigabyte x570s aero g motherboard

64gb ddr4 ram, evga rtx 3090 ftw3 ultra,

samsung 980 pro 2tb m.2

another Samsung ssd

12rgb fans

3 regular fans, Corsair d5 pump

corsair cpu water block

ekwb front and active back gpu block

ill also be using a extended USB port with a mic, headphones, mouse, keyboard, camera.

I picked a bigger psu to hopefully future proof for a future gpu
