I'm trying to play Far Cry 5, but most (not every) time I boot it up via Steam, it of course has to open Ubisoft's program to run. After that, my Radeon software is disabled, because the game claims I don't have an HDR monitor. I click on AMD Radeon Software in the Start Menu of Windows, and it won't open. Using Ctrl+R doesn't open it either. I have to reinstall AMD's software (usually with the Factory Resent option), then open and run the game, and it behaves for that game session (or until I shut down the PC, or it enters sleep mode). I have an RX 6700 XT.

A google search shows a lot of Ubisoft FAQ stuff simply saying "check that your drivers are current." I saw something about shutting off Ubisoft in-game notifications, but I've done that, and it doesn't stop it. The only thing left to try via early google search results is to run Ubisoft in offline mode, but at some point I'd hoped to play Far Cry 5 with friends, so I'd have to be online for that. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

And at the most recent time it blipped out, my second monitor, connected via DisplayPort, won't recognize signal. I hooked it up with HDMI and it's fine, but that's the first time DP has had issues even when the AMD software has been disabled...
