Screen notifications

Hello,

 

i just bought a new laptop and yesterday when i had it up and running it showed things on the screen when adjusting brightness sound, disabling touchpad activating wifi, everything showed up on the screen,

today it doesn't do that anymore and i can't figure out how i should get them back.

anyone any ideas?

my laptop is a MSI GT780DDX

It was probably part of the pre-installed software which comes with any OEM laptop by MSI.

Did you do a clean install or something? Those features come with laptops, I lost mine when I installed my Windows again.

Try getting updates with makers software center (if it has one) or homepage. The windows updates might break those.

Found it!! it was the S-Bar thingy, reinstalled it and everything is fine now
