transferring hard drive

i am planning to get a new hard drive and i was wondering if i could transfer all my stuff and windows and what it would it take because my hard drive is pretty old...

If this is your boot drive, Id get a ssd. Booting from a HDD is pretty slow now.

 

But there is lots of clonging software like macrum reflect that can do this for you.

no like get rid of like buy a hard drive and get rid of the old one it 6+years old and to be honest i dont want to pay that much rn so a hard drive will do

Id really suggest getting a hdd. Id wait a bit longer to save up for a ssd, or get a seperate boot drive ssd and a data hdd. It will be a massive performance difference.
