Phanteks Eclipse P200A

suedseefrucht

Hi everyone,
this is just hypothetical for future budget builds.
I like the looks of the new P200A as a budget case.

I like the idea of vertically mounting the graphics card, so it's intake is right behind the mesh.
But If the graphics card is mounted vertically, the rear fan doesn't fit anymore, so there is no fan to get the heat out of the case anymore.

So, what do you think? Is it worth it, to mount the graphics card vertically for good intake and bad exhaust,

or is it better to mount the graphics card horiontally for good exhaust but intake through the bottom of the case?

From what it looks like this case isn't even compatible with a vertical GPU mount.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

It can be mounted in the fan area vertically.

It can be mounted in the fan area vertically.

I'd say the temps will be better than bottom intake. But you should definetly use an AiO for your CPU then. Maybe even do 4 exhaust fans in the front/side to go full negative pressure and help the GPU intake even more air.

With a radiator in the front, that seems to be the coolest solution for the graphics card.

It makes sence, since the graphics card doesn't want the hot air from the radiator.

I will try to find some reviews about air coolong in this case.
