How can I recover contact phones from data memory throught the PC? (broken screen on phone)

I can't see anything on the phone and I have to recover all my contacts which are saved on the phone memory. I can't see anything on the phone, the screen is broken. How can I recover the contacts? I have to do this before it runs out of battery.

 

I've seen "fonedog" program but it's closed source. Can I do this with an open source software?
