I'm waiting to get this in order to be more up to date now that the release of it is close. However, I cannot find any news on when it's supposed to be released? Last word was Q3/Q4 2021 or September, but there's no further info. Does anyone know anything about the progress for this version of LTO?

Could be, but there's no news, no nothing, not even rumors. Even with shortages, we would see the machines presented, but there's no images or info anywhere, just basic information about the LTO-9 storage capacities and basic info about "what LTO is". There's also nothing on price, so it's hard to plan anything related to storage.
