My PC seems to freeze during random tasks, it doesn't seem like it gets triggered by anything specific when it freezes, my specs are ( Asus SabertoothFX990 R2.0, EVGA Supernova 1000g+, AMD FX9590, Sapphire RX580 8gb(main card), Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ 4gb(secondary card), 4x8gb HyperX fury DDR3 1866MHZ, but my ram only runs at about 1000mhz. my system used to randomly shut off like I've unplugged it but i fixed that by turning my core voltage down to 1.44v. the freezing problem was still present at that time too.

You might have a bad stick of RAM in there dragging the performance down. 2x8GB would still be enough for most computers, maybe 2 sticks would run at their advertised speeds.

i used to have a bad stick but I replaced it, in fact while i was typing this my pc crashed with the reason "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" which has happened a few time. some days it seems like my pc doesn't freeze or crash at all while other times it does it constantly.
