Resume issue with RX6800

Ok so I have a ASUS RX6800 TUF and sometimes if I leave my computer and let it go to sleep I come back and move the mouse and the computer appears to kick on but I get no video signal. So then Ill hit the reset or power button on the computer and when it boots up its stuck at 1920x1080, doesnt matter what I do I cant change the resolution to anything higher but everything else appears to be unchanged. Then if I use the windows menu and preform another restart it restores my 4k hdr resolution without any input from me. Currently have the newest driver, did this before the most recent driver update and Im assuming its a card issue as it never happened with my rtx2060 (I no longer have that card so plugging it in to verify is not an option). So any ideas whats going on? Also when I initially switched to this card I did a full driver/software removal for all the Nvidea related material
