Hi there,
I recently started looking for a mousepad, but don't know how to choose one. I would like the bigger one, my desk is 700 mm x 300 mm, so anything a bit smaller would be great. The main question is, should I go for a cheap one of like Amazon, or should I look into some more expensive ones, their texture, thickness, etc.? In that case, how do I choose one? Should I look for some familiar brands or something else?
Thank you in advance.

I would go for a razer gigantuas v2 u can choose what size and its around 20$ us i think it also has a pretty nice texture. Those really expensive one that are 70$ for the textures arent worth it as they dont really matter that much unless u have a really bumpy mouse pad

Should I go for a mousepad for the mouse only or the bigger ones which cover the mouse nad keyboard area? The Razer Gigantuas V2 would only fit on my desk in the medium size, which would cover only the mouse area. The large would probably be better, but it's too long for my desk.

Really up to you. Personally, i do like the large ass mousepad that can double as mousepad and deskpad, but i know many CS players who love to use the whole deskpad space for flicks. If something like Razer Gigantus are far too large, consider QcK XXL from Steelseries. I personally use their heavy version, but i prefer their thinner lineup.

Hi @johnicc have you heard of Dream Machines mousepads? f not check them out. for this price you get a decent mousepad balanced between speed and control + you do not overpay for just a piece of rubber and cloth. choose what's best for your desk/ setup. They have 3 sizes: L, XL and XXL.

What do you think?

Oh, okay, they look pretty good and the price is very decent. Definitely will look into it, thank you.
