Hi, so I own a HP 15g-dr0006tx laptop and my motherboard was fried, I had to get it replaced but I did it from a local shop as they promised to do it in 3 - 4 days rather than 10 - 15 days according to HP. So, after my motherboard was replaced, I turned my laptop on for the first time to check if it was working properly or not and then I went to settings just to find out that my resoultion is set to 1366 x 768 and "recommended" was written in brackets. I thought it is impossible as I clearly remember that my laptop's screen resolution was 1920 x 1080. It was after the motherboard replacement that my screen resolution is stuck at 1366 x 768. I have googled everywhere about it, some were saying expand the resolution option in display settings, there will be the 1920 x 1080 resolution, but it was not, some were saying go to adapter properties, list all modes and select 1920 x 1080 from there, but this resolution was not present over there, some were saying use an app called CRU to change the resolution, I did that too but still it doesn't work. So, if anyone could help me out then please help me, and I do not want to hand over my laptop to the service center guys as its the only computer in my house on which I can work.
