It would be good to test it and run som stress test just to make sure you didnt f*** something up

For removing of thermal paste:

So very recently I just got an rtx 3060 to replace my old 1060. I have planned on selling this 1060 after I was to get the 3060 so I started blowing some compressed air on it to clean it up. I noticed there was a lot of dust under the casing of the card that I couldn't spray out so I unscrewed the casing to try and clean it. I was a bit stupid though and just winged it instead of looking up how to do it properly, and I ended up taking the whole cooler off of the card. It only took me 6 screws to do that and I didn't expect the whole cooler to come off. All the thermal paste now must be replaced obviously. I ordered some of this (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07KQ1T158/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to replace it but Im not sure how to remove thermal paste. Some people were using heat guns and rubbing alcohol but I don't have any of that. How do you remove the paste then ? Also once I apply new paste will I have to plug it back into a machine to test it. I wouldnt want to sell something that I didnt know worked. Thanks

Thank you. I'm not too sure if I have a machine to test it in. Do you think It would be smart to just remove the 3060 temporarily to test it ?
