Hey! I recently installed a new gpu that took months to finally get ahold of one and installed it into my pc after installing it windows is asking for my bitlocker recovery key I called them tried everything they told me checked to see if it was saved on my msft account and got nothing. Any ideas?

I've seen a firmware update cause that but not a hardware change.

If you decide to keep using bitlocker ( and have a copy of the recovery key in a known location ), always suspend bitlocker before flashing bios or system firmware. Anything that messes with the TPM or the firmware of the system can trigger the recovery.

Without resorting to nation/state hacking tools, or risking sketchy claims found on google you have to find the key or reformat and start again from backup.

Windows Media Creation tool on a USB drive, then boot to that and manually delete all partitions on the bitlocked drive, format, and reinstall Windows.

Just FYI, you won't be able to reinstall with the option to save files. You will lose everything not backed up to an external source.
