so i am building my first pc and i was opening up my 5600X and i was trying to open up the clamshell and it was being a little bit difficult to open up so i tried harder and i got it to open but when it opened it popped up a little bit and one of the corners of the cpu was resting on the side of the clamshell. it wasn't like a big part of the cpu it was just the little corner. i started to freak out and i was worrying like what if i bent a pin or what if a pin came off. i looked at the pins and i didnt see any bent pins or missing pins but im just SUPER worried. Do you think my cpu is ok? i will post pictures of the pins. Thanks and please tell me if you think its ok.

Calm down, it looks perfectly fine. CPUs aren't super fragile. Pins can break, but they're not going to break just from a little bit of being knocked around.

it looks fine. if your worried, you can look down the line at the pins, it should be obvious if ones bent.

but in general, if it fits into the socket its going to be fine

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)
