5900x temps

I got a amd ryzen 9 5900x with a h155i rgb pro xt AIO. Idle I get like 40-50c and then on cod warzone I get 70-80c. Is that okay, I know that ryzen 9 5900x can get hot but just want to make sure.

Totally fine. If you have a 500 series Board, B550 or x570, you should look into the Curve Optimizer with PBO2 to getting a performance boost and lowering your temps.

do you have any tutorial for that? it's my first amd cpu and i have the same temps (45-55 idle )

Also, do note that those temps aren't a problem. What are your temps under load?

It does seem a bit warm to me. I am in a 20.5c space right now. This thing has been running World Community Grid for a couple of days now since I last rebooted.

But don't you run it with an undervolt?

+150 all core, -30 CO

 

I was running +200 just fine for months, but had some issues in 11 so I knocked 50MHz off the top. Its not really an undervolt, you are just manipulating curves. I still see the same voltage used with this OC and stock. Outside of that I have not touched vcore or LLC, I only do for all core clocking.

I do use LLC on the SOC after a certain point.. level 3 + 20%
