H100i LED problems

The LED on my H100i stopped working after I plugged in the Corsair link cable. The H100i doesnt show up in Corsair Link either. After plugging in the corsair link cable to the mobo it said USB power surge when I turned the PC back on.

and regarding the Corsair Link, whenever my H100i isn't recognized within Corsair Link I uninstall, turn the PC off, re-plug all H100i usb cables then install the latest version of Corsair Link.
