Maybe you could do something ghetto. Wrap the HDD in a condom maybe?

So I just built my friend a pc with Silencio 352, it's an amazing case for the money, only thing is it doesn't have anti vibration hard drive mounts so seagate barracuda makes a lot of noise.

I'm going to build my own rig in a few weeks with that case and I'm wondering should I use NAS drive like WD Red or maybe 2,5inch hard drive, or maybe I should think of a way to  make the drive silent and buy the seagate barracuda?

Oh and yes 2,5 inch slots have rubber mounts.

Well I already know that Barracuda makes noise in that case, do you have WD Red or Blue?

 

 

 

How bad it would be to have 2,5 inch hdd as a secondary?

Samsung Spinpoint M8, specifically the 2.5" 1TB ones. Used them in a file server once, quiet as anything ^^
