The specs for this are in my signature, but just for good measure. The build is a Ryzen 3 3100, an ASUS ROG Strix B550-F (Gaming WiFi)

In the menu for Bluetooth and other devices, the option is greyed out as shown below. There was a total of 3 Xbox controllers, but I did some digging, found and removed the ones I could find in Device Manager.

I have restarted the computer, restarted the controler, updated the controller's firmware?

Is there maybe a standalone driver or something for Xbox controllers in Window 10 that I am missing?

Hoping to avoid buying the wireless adapter for Windows 10, as it should just work with Bluetooth.... Obnoxious.

It clearly indicates what the issue is: The Bluetooth adapter on your computer is turned off. As you can also tell by the fact that the option to search for Bluetooth devices is greyed-out. You'll need to enable it.

no it isn't...
