So I decided to replace the thermal paste from the CPU(R5 3600x) with a better one and after everything was done, the pc wouldn't boot. The CPU light on the motherboard was red, it usually lights up and goes down to the other 4 but this time it was just staying at the CPU light.

I double checked the cpu pins, they were fine. I did push a bit harder on the cooler (cooler master 212 evo, installing it is a pain) but when i took the cpu out to check the pins there were no signs of damage to the cpu or the motherboard(B450 Tomahawk max)

I tried to:

Check the cpu power cable

Check the motherboard power cable

Slightly unscrew the cpu cooler

Screw the cooler a bit tighter

Reset CMOS (took the battery out for 10min 30 min and a few hours)

Tried to boot without the gpu

Basically i tried everything i could think of that may help. Any ideas of what could be wrong?

*The table was on carpet but i had a pair of plastic/rubber slippers so i don't think i could have killed it with ESD.*
