Hi. this is about the Asus ROG strix G15 advantage edition. Asus's website states that a 1440p model of the G15 advantage edition but I have checked multiple websites and it is nowhere to be found. Has there been any news of its release date or a supplier where it is found. Personally, I think a 1080p 300Hz screen is a waste of the graphics horse power that the G15 AMD edition has. feel free to leave a comment if you do own one or if you have found a seller selling one.

here is the link: https://rog.asus.com/in/laptops/rog-strix/2021-rog-strix-g15-advantage-edition-series/

If you scroll down to the display section you will see the option of a FHD 300 hz and a WQHD 165 hz

1440p at 15inches is also just a waste. 1080p at 15 inches if plenty pixel dense enough that at a normal viewing distance it's is really close to a "retina" display or basically just a display where you can't identify pixels.

yeah. but 300Hz ?? I'd rather just go for a little better sharpness.

But this does not seem the answer the main question which is

Oh yeah 300hz is no better. As for the 1440p edition I think it's just rare as it does seem to exist but just not in stock.
