lg 32un650 vs lg 32ln950 for a web designer (UX-UI) / programmer / video and photo editing

philrules

Hi to everyone šŸ™‚

I need your help guys...

Ā

I am an aspiring web developer and always work with graphics, images, videos and other media content which is basically an integral part of almost any project.

Right now I have an old mac book pro 15ā€ mid 2016 (the lates version before the design relaunch) paired with a razor chroma eGPU + radeon rx5700xt and an external lg 27ud68-w monitor.

For some time now Iā€™ve been thinking about buying a second external monitor to have a full double monitor setšŸ˜… also my current monitor just doesnā€™t provide needed color gamut for the job. Well, what else can I expect from such a cheap monitor šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Ā

Now Iā€™m thinking on buying one of these two monitors: lg 32un650 and 32ul950. The first I can actually buy new from amazon for some 500 euros and for 32ul950 Iā€™ve just found a nice deal with the price slightly over 600 euros for a used monitor.

Ā

I am not good with all those monitor specs yetĀ but learning. If I understand it right if I will decide to go withĀ 32un650 I'm also gonna need a Monitor Calibration Tool because this monitor is not factory calibrated and has oversaturated gumat.Ā Ā

Ā

Ā

Could you please give me some advance here please?šŸ˜… maybe some of you know a better option in this price range with better specifications for my purposesšŸ¤”

Ā

Thanks in advance! love you all =)

if 4k 32inch is your biggest priority then there isn't much of a choice, 1440p monitors with better color gamut is cheaper

yeah, I have a macbook so with such a big size I have to pick a 4k monitor, otherwise it just won't show a good image. Unfortunately Mac does not have smoothening like windows =(
