Suggestions for upgrading my PC

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Playing games like ghost recon wildlands, watch dogs, assassins creed etc.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 

 

I currently have a corsair 275R Airflow case, with the inards of my Dad's old pc (ASUS Maximus v Formula motherboard, i5 3570K, 8gb RAM, 800W power supply, 500gb ssd, 2tb hard drive) and used to have a HD7870 graphics card which is now dead.

I am looking for suggestions for upgrading compoments so that I would be able to play above games at ideally 1440p 60fps (at high in-game graphics), and what you think I should focus my budget on as the integrated graphics on my cpu are not able to run such games at all.

I would also want to get a monitor with the budget.

 

I appreate any advice people have.

I came as close as I could to your budget, I did go a little over but I think it's worth it and it has a cool gaming monitor. Link Below

I'd get a good X570 AMD Board, an AMD 3600, 16GB DDR, Id then use the case, PSU and Video which can be updated at a later date.

 

Any cash left over save to put towards upgrades later date.
