Hey guys,

I can't boot up my pc because it randomly decided not to detect my ssd raid set up.

Specs are:

Asrock extreme 3 X58

I7 920

2 X Corsair force 3 in raid 0

The pc has been running as is for a year now but just randomly wouldn't start. I checked in bios and the ssds don't don't appear.

Iv tried unplugging one and left the other in then tried the other but neither showed up.

I guess I should try them on sata 2 ports.

My mate had the same ssds and had a similar issue though one of his had to be rma'd.

Anyone here had similar trouble?

Tested on sata 2 with no luck. Went into raid set up and o e of the ssd was not coming up. Did multiple tests but looks like it's faulty.. My mate bought the same one at the same time and he had to rma it last month so might be a bad batch. The 2nd ssd was purchased a year after the first so hopefully it won't have the same troubles

Since you had the SSDs in RAID0, which stripes the data across the two drives, if one of them is bad, you've basically lost all your stuff. Most likely, the controller went bad in the drive and it's become a brick.

Hopefully, you only had your OS and a few apps on the SSDs and you data on another drive....

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

As Quaker said, it might be a that a drive failed, meaning that you have lost all the data. Does the BIOS recognise any drive if you plug them in separatedly?
