Future career maybe??

So I know this is an off topic subject but I'm getting to the point in my life where I need to think about my future, and I've come to the conclusion of designing computer hardware like CPU, GPU, RAM ect. So I was just wandering what would be some of the stuff I could research/start on getting this into work with my future. Please give me some websites, courses, or any knowledge i can use that would be useful. Thanks!

The specific career field you describe is Computer Hardware Engineer. I would start by just learning what went into the building of ancient CPUs, and seeing how it has advanced to the processes we have today.

Yeah... No.. IT dept and hardware engineer are unbelievably different jobs. IT Dept is usually around $10 an hour. Hardware engineer is usually around $90k a year.
