Laptop dock recommendations

So I am getting a MacBook Air for school and I want to be able to use my big ultra wide monitor when at home. I only have HDMI to work with because my pc is using  the Display port. So I need something that does USB C to HDMI and preferably with other ports like Ethernet, SD card, USB A and more. These aren’t a requirement but a real nice to have.

Main Project:

A desk that has a hatch that opens in the middle of it and then goes down flush with the desk.
